Ben Johnson Receives Paul E. Torgersen Graduate Research Excellence AwardMichael (Ben) Johnson, a BSE MS candidate and an advisee of Drs. Wen and Arogo, won first place in the 2009 College of Engineering Paul E. Torgersen Graduate Research Excellence Award competition for oral presentations. The title of Ben's presentation was "A Novel Attached Algal Culture System for Algal Biodiesel Production”. The Paul E. Torgersen Graduate Research Excellence Award was established in 1990 to recognize and reward distinguished research in graduate engineering studies. The award winners were selected by a panel of student and faculty judges from the College of Engineering. Congratulations to Ben on receiving this prestigious award!
