Congratulations to our American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) Student Branch for receiving the VT College of Engineering Student Society Award through the COE Student Engineers' Council. This is a great recognition of the many activities in which ASABE has been engaged this year.
The Student Engineers' Council stated that ASABE's "active participation in the Student Engineers' Council and involvement within the College makes ASABE more than qualified for this award. Starting the first annual Biological Systems Engineering Career Fair requires extraordinary effort and commitment; I offer my sincere commendation to ASABE for accomplishing such a task."
ASABE was awarded $500 to assist the society in future endeavors and
will be recognized for their achievements at a luncheon on April 22.
