Students Make Biodiesel Derived from Waste Vegetable Oil
A group of Virginia Tech students has produced more than 200 gallons of biodiesel as part of a senior design project advised by Dr. Foster Agblevor, BSE associate professor. The group is putting the fuel to direct use, running two pickup trucks on the liquid. One of the students, Christopher Block, will be a graduate student in BSE in the fall and will continue with the project.
