Department Undergraduate Program Graduate Program Prospective Students Research Extension Alumni Alpha Epsilon Receives ASABE Most Outstanding Chapter Award Congratulations to the Virginia Eta Chapter of Alpha Epsilon for receiving the 2009 Most Outstanding Chapter Award. This award would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our chapter’s members who continue to participate in many different activities, including local and international. Chapters are selected based upon their membership makeup, number of meetings held throughout the year, educational activities, service activities, professional activities, activities and goals planned for the next school year, and the mission of the individual chapter. The award comes with a $400 prize which will be used to fund activities in the upcoming year. Specifically the chapter plans to use this money to help complete our pilot sustainability kit which will be a tool K through 5 classrooms can use to learn about sustainability. Award winners were announced at the ASABE Annual International Meeting held in June in Reno, Nevada.
