With a Virginia Tech-emblazoned trowel in his hand, Dean Alan Grant of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences recently laid the first Hokie Stone on the Human and Agricultural Biosciences Building 1, marking the beginning of the next phase of construction for the new research facility.
The MEASURES/InForest application, developed cooperatively by an interdisciplinary team of VT researchers including Gene Yagow (BSE), has been selected as a finalist in the Governor's Technology Award at the Commonwealth of Virginia's Innovative Technology Symposium (COVITS).
