New BSE Faculty
Dr. Warren Ruder will be joining the BSE department as our newest assistant professor in August 2012. Warren is currently a postdoctoral research associate in the Applied Biodynamics Laboratory at Boston University, Harvard Wyss Institute, and Howard Hughes Medical Institute. He received a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering in 2009 and a M.S. in mechanical engineering in 2008, both from Carnegie Mellon University, and a B.S. in civil and environmental engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2002. Warren will be bringing a well-rounded engineering background and extensive research laboratory experience with him. He will be a great complement to our current faculty in both research and teaching.
