The Virginia Tech Chapter of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers provides opportunities to participate in local, regional, and national professional development and networking events. The mission of AWRAatVT is to support local, regional, and national waterways through education, service, management, and research.

SWCS Student Branch 
The Student Branch of the Virginia Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society engages in a variety of service and social activities throughout the year, including Save Our Streams Biomonitoring at local streams, educational workshops, stream clean-ups, hiking, and other conservation activities. SWCS is an international, nonprofit organization that advocates the protection, enhancement, and wise use of soil, water, and related natural resources.

Food Science Club at Virginia Tech 
The Food Science Club at Virginia Tech is a non-profit student organization dedicated to promoting food science and technology through education and service.

Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
The Society of Women Engineers at Virginia Tech seeks to support and encourage women in all engineering fields.

National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
NSBE’s mission it to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community
