Chloe Wynns is a senior in BSE with a concentration in Watershed Science and Environmental Health and two minors in Green Engineering and Ecological Cities. Chloe is from Virginia Beach, Virginia and loves living near the ocean but has really enjoyed the mountains and hikes of Blacksburg. Chloe’s love for the environment started in high school when she volunteered at the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk and learned about conservation and animals. She volunteered for two years as a member of the Conservation Youth Team and then worked for two more summers as a summer camp instructor.
She still stops by and volunteers every time she goes home. Chloe also stays involved on campus in several extracurriculars like the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE). She is currently serving as the President of the Student Alumni Associates and has a lot of fun encouraging spirit on campus and connecting with alumni. Chloe hopes to work as an engineer in a consulting firm working on water management with a particular interest in flooding and stormwater.
She is so excited to be a BSE Ambassador and help people find a major that they love!
