Gino Chiotti

BSE Ambassador
Gino Chiotti, Virginia Tech Biological Systems Engineering Ambassador

Gino Chiotti is from Fredericksburg, Virginia, and is a BSE senior focusing on the Biotechnology path with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. After graduation, he hopes to pursue a job in the Biomedical engineering field where he can research cancer treatment through nanoparticles. He previously served as an Orientation Leader for two summers where he developed his communication and leadership skills. He is currently participating in several organizations such as the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), Circle K, and Latin Link. Each organization allows him to grow professionally, voluntarily, and culturally to create a more well-developed experience at Tech.

To complete the true Hokie experience, he really enjoys going to home football games to support the team through their wins and losses and spending quality time with friends. However, he recognizes that school is not always fun and games but takes time and dedication to truly find one's passion. He's really proud that he has found the BSE community because, without them, he would not love being at school and not be passionate about his major.

Now, he's ready to share his personal experience and explain the successes and challenges of being a BSE student as a BSE ambassador.
