Dylan DiDona

Dylan DiDona is a senior in BSE from Brewster, New York, pursuing the Biotechnology track with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. After graduating in Spring 2026, he aims to work in the pharmaceutical field developing new drugs or the biotechnology field participating in research, with a hope to make an impact wherever his life takes him. 

As a BSE mentor, he hopes to use his personal experiences to give advice about the BSE classes and their structure, joining extracurricular activities, and applying for internships with other students. He also aspires to help his mentees avoid the mistakes he made and help them succeed in the field of biotechnology. 

At Virginia Tech, Dylan is a part of the American Society of Agriculture and Biological Engineers (ASABE), where he volunteers, and also participates in the Spikeball club, where he competes in regional tournaments across the Mid-Atlantic. In his free time, he likes watching sports and TV, playing video games, and taking trivia quizzes.

Dylan is thankful to be included in the tight-knit community that the BSE major at Virginia Tech creates, and can’t wait to share his unique perspective of the department and tips and tricks with upcoming students.
