Ella Lewis

Ella Lewis is a senior in Biological Systems Engineering, focusing on Environmental Health, from Amherst, Virginia. She would like to have a career in Water Resources Engineering after graduation. 

During her time at Virginia Tech, she has been involved in undergraduate research with Dr. Zachary Easton, the Virginia Water Resources Research Center, and Dr. Leigh-Anne Krometis. Ella will stay at Virginia Tech to complete an Accelerated M.S. with Dr. Krometis. This research involves collecting water samples from homes on private wells, conducting water quality analyses for contaminants of concern, and communicating results.

Ella also serves as Student Engagement Liaison for the BSE department and for our student professional organization, the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), where she helps develop social media content.
